Cadence Park K-8

Opened August 2018!

The design of this award-winning school was a collaboration between FivePoint and the Great Parks Home Owner's Association. The community, through a joint venture public-private partnership, wanted to spend additional money on designing a school that delivers a distinct educational experience. Cadence Park focuses on collaboration and creativity by integrating Media Centers, Music Classrooms, Outdoor Gardens and many more unique spaces that promote this experience.

This passion project brought architects, builders, home-owners, and city representatives together, culminating in the the most pristine example of the benefits of public-private parternships and joint-use facilities in the State of California.

Cadence Park
The Media Center at Cadence Park is one of the best examples in the State of a community getting what they want through a public-private partnership. With floor-to-ceiling windows and various ways to create and digest media, this classroom was designed entirely to promote the creativity of its students.

The incredible landscaping and architecture at Cadence Park was entirely funded through a public-priavte partnership with the Home Owners Association. The home owners screened and hired their own architect in order to build a school the community could be proud of.
Administration and Music Classrooms
The Kindergarten area is fenced in by chalk boards. This is one of many brilliant ways the school tries to promote creativity amongst the Cadence Park students.

FivePoint provided this school with a modern cafeteria and kitchen to provide hot food service for Cadence students. Multiple outdoor seating areas are naturally integrated into the architecture.

All the classrooms at Cadence Park can extend out into one giant classroom, providing students and teachers with the space they need to promote the learning environment.
